Facilitating a Grief Workshop

 * This workshop is available to graduates of the Grief Support Certification Course. 

Workshop Objectives

During this two-day informative and experiential workshop, 

you will:

1) Develop a workable workshop agenda.

2) Discuss strategies for marketing your workshops. 

3) Organize your workshop plan to provide the correct amount of time required to successfully complete each healing strategy.

4) Explore effective group leadership, group functioning, and gain skills in guiding individual responses that either support or interfere with group effectiveness.

5) Gain skills in providing an emotionally safe environment where each group member can advance their own healing goals.

6) Revisit the healing strategies learned during the Grief Support Certification course and advance your ability to apply these to individuals in a group setting. 

7) Examine and practice ways to ensure effective and emotionally safe closure for each workshop participant.
